Architecture of Web Information Integration System Based on Cache

Warehousing and virtual method are two kinds of basic methods to establish a Web Information Integration System. This paper presented a new Wrapper/Mediator/Cache architecture, which is a hybrid of warehousing and virtual method, and based on the Wrapper/Mediator architecture. We add a Cache into the Wrapper/Mediator architecture in order to improve the query efficiency. Wrapper/Mediator/Cache architecture shows obvious advantage in solving the problem of large-scaled data source and efficiently query.
