Study on Algorithms of Evaluating the Characteristic Parameters of Circle and Ellipse

In the image processing,the algorithm for characteristic parameters of circle and ellipse can be evaluated by means of least square fitting.Besides,the algorithm of characters of circular sections can also be realized by the area method and perimeter method.The comparison of the results show that the least square circle and area method are effective ways.
