Expert System for Analysis and Diagnosis of Highway Engineering Quality Based on POAD

The problem of highway engineering quality is the complex problem that is multi-aspects,multi-layers,time related and involves a great many implicit factors,so it is essential to establish an expert system on intelligent analysis and diagnosis of highway engineering quality to assure the quality of highway engineering.In this paper,a large capacity knowledge system on the highway engineering quality is built with the expert system model of Problem Oriented Analysis and Decision(POAD),which is based on the knowledge framework constructed with Standard JTG F80/1-2004.The method of knowledge definition,acquirement and maintenance about the highway engineering quality is proposed.And the human-dominant mechanism of knowledge induction and reasoning,which is consistent with the habit of human thinking,is also designed.Finally,RoadQuality-an expert system on intelligent analysis and diagnosis of highway engineering quality,is developed with VC++6.0 and ADO.
