Designing Setup Program by InstallShield

After the application software is completed,in order to make it a executable program package,the program and corresponding source file should be integrated by using some tool software,so that the software would be installed automatically and run normally in the special operating system environment,which is indispensable part of software system.InstallShield is one of installation program used most widely.Its comprehensive functions,stable performance satisfy professional programmer.In this paper,the basic principle and common approach of designing installation program by InstallShield was introduced,and InstallScript,the script language of InstallShield,was also presented.And some methods of controlling installation program by InstallScript was discussed with examples.
