Cooperative diversity is a new space diversity technique applied in wireless communication and multiple terminals construct a virtual Multiple-Input Multiple-Output(MIMO) system by sharing their antennas. This paper introduces a cooperative diversity technique, focusing on two models of Amplify and Forward(AF) and Decode and Forward(DF).We study multi-user cooperation based on two users' cooperation and compare performance under QAM(Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) and PSK(Phase Shifting Keying) through simulation. Our simulation result shows that with the number of cooperative users increasing the performance will be improved and the same modulation order the QAM outperforms PSK.
