Application of PSCAD/EMTDC in Calculation of Lightning Protection for Transmission line

The simulation principle and process of lightning protection for transmission line are introduced. The modes of lightning currency and tower, etc. are built in PSCAD/EMTDC based on the characteristics of performance of line protection.
