Secure Group Key Distribution Protocol Based on the Status Key Tree

In order to decrease the storage cost of group key distribution protocol,a secure group key distribute protocol based on the status key tree is proposed. A method for constructing of status key tree is proposed.The particular process of group key distribution when a member joins/leaves the group is suggested. The security and performance of the protocol are analyzed.SKT decreases the storage cost group control key server(GCKS) needs from O(n) to O(log_dn).
