ON CORBA-BASED ACCESS MIDDLEWARE OF HETEROGENEOUS DATABASE AND ITS IMPLEMENTATION

Now the application of middleware technology in solving communication problem of heterogeneous platforms is increasing.In this paper,we propose a heterogeneous database middleware enquiry system based on XML and CORBA by the full use of existing demand of database resources to solve the problem of information sharing between the departments within an organisation.The system uses XML technology to determine the uniform format of Request commands,uses distributed technology of CORBA to access heterogeneous database.Simulation experiment has the characteristics of portability.It is high in cost performance and easy to operate,and is fitting the small and medium sized enterprises.
