The Application of an Improved OMR Technology in Standardization Exam

In the paper,we put forward the application of an improved OMR technology in standardization exam,differs from other system which is based on the optical mark recognition,the system adopt methods,algorithms of optical character recognition techniques to recognize the handwritten symbols on answer cards.So this systerm is to recognize all kinds of handwritten symbols written by examinee such as √、╳、○、●、╲、╱,which is belongs to Off-Line Handwritten Chinese Character Recognition.The methods gain a high rate of correct identification.
