Properties and application of temporal orthogonal Gaussian-Hermite moments

As it is well known,moments are widely used in pattern recognition,image processing,computer vision and multi-reso- lution analysis.Taking the well-known Gaussian functions as smoothing kernel;the temporal orthogonal Gaussian-Hermite (TOGHM) moments were recently proposed.In this paper,we analyze some properties of temporal orthogonal Gaussian-Hermite moments and pres- ent a new method of detecting moving objects.At the end of the paper,the experiment results are reported,which show good performance of our methods in the noise scene for detecting the motion objects.
