Research of next generation in-vechicle network FlexRay and its application

FlexRay is a communication system that will support the needs of future in-car control applications.The media access scheme of FlexRay is based on time-triggered technology,which makes its application development method different to that of the event-triggered bus(such as CAN,etc),which is widely applied in car currently.In order to illustrate the application development method based on FlexRay,a throttle-by-wire prototype control system based on FlexRay is designed in this paper using DecomSys::Designer,which is a comprehensive development tool for distributed systems.The system architecture,task model,and the application development procedures are described.Finally the application of FlexRay in this system is analyzed.
