A modified algorithm of estimating direction of arrival for related signals

In order to investigate the locating problems of emitted signals arrival in the smart antenna system,a modified algorithm is proposed.On the basis of spatial smoothing techniquet,he method of total least squares-estimating signal parameters via the rotational invariance technique is ameliorated.Simulation results have been given to verify this modified algorithm for both independent and coherent signals.It shows that a good perform-ance of proposed technique is with low computational complexity,high resolution,and small signal to noise ratio.
