Detection and Identification of Targets on Battlefield

This paper describes a multi sensor surveillance system,which uses passive detection theory.The mechanism of generation and propagation of radiated noise and seismic signal of typical targets on battlefield is presented.The spectrum of radiated noise and seismic signal is estimated and its linear spectrum property is analyzed.A suitable BP neural network,which uses the spectrum of radiated noise and seismic signal as input,is designed to identify target effectively.
