SOAP-based Open Network Security Management

SOAP ( simple object access protocol ) is a light weight protocol for exchange of information in a distributed environment. The Web service based on SOAP is helpful to realize cooperation， universality and low barrier. It makes the interlinkage of the isolated points easy. The paper introduces XML， SOAP and SNMP protocols and the actuality of network security management to expound the need and the probability of the management in network security products. The realization of the network security management based on XML and SOAP is also introduced.
