Research of DMD-MAC Protocol in Wireless Sensor Network

Ruixin Chen · Modern Electronics Technique · 2009

Medium Access Control(MAC) protocol is an important part in Wireless Sensor Network(WSN).The performance of whole network and the efficiency of wireless channels utilization mostly lie on the performance of MAC protocol. The working principle of DMD protocol is introduced.Data is not available as a result of an agreement to avoid conflict and crosstalk measures, easily lead to data conflicts, the quality of data transmission can not be guaranteed, also relatively large time delay in DMD protocol. An improved protocol is put forward, this paper to shake hands with the mechanism and method of data partitioning.Theory shows that the improved agreement significantly reduced the average task cycle and node energy consumption.Besides, the improved agreement to avoid conflict and crosstalk,as well as the data transmission has been greatly increased.
