Application of Improved Genetic Algorithms in Earth-Rock Dam Settlement Forecasting

Applying basic theory of genetic algorithms, we establish genetic algorithms model of earth-rock dam settlement according to the feature of the earth-rock dam settlement in which we use aging amount as basic effect factor. Improved basic genetic algorithms in the process of model building is adopted. The definition domain of decision variable is determined according to the optimal model and the feature of the earth-rock dam settlement,so the search range is reduced and the search efficiency is improved.
