The new generation network computing pattern: Web services

To pass through the firewall is hardly successful by using the traditional distributed computing technique, but Web services technique based on Internet standard protocols overcomes this difficulty for it can be used to integrate all kinds of services on Internet and realize the distributed computing on Internet which involves different platforms and operation systems. The main standards and protocols of Web services framework are introduced including Simple Object Access Protocol(SOAP), Web Services Description Language(WSDL),and Universal Description, Discovery and Integration(UDDI). And examples of the reference codes and applications of Web services are also given.
