Research of Virtual Honeynets System Based on Hyper-V

This paper proposes a brand new network security plan based on Hyper-V,the virtual Honeynet.The concept of Hyper-V and virtual honeynet and their implementation procedures are elaborated.The honeynet(HN) is a network security technology based on lure traps.However, traditional HN requires a lot of hardware resources,which increases the management cost significantly.Based on the virtual network enabled by the Hyper-V function of Windows Server, the new HN can provide the same security level as traditional NH with a lower configuration and management cost.
