Direction-of-Arrival (DOA) estimation capability of the system is greatly influenced by the geometric configuration of antenna array. A novel two dimensional logarithm spiral array with a few elements, big aperture and characteristics of high resolution is presented. The structure parameters of the array with no-grid lobe is been determined by particle swarm optimization method, antenna patterns of the array are calculated and compared with the rectangular array and uniform circular array (UCA). the MUSIC method is used in two-dimensional spatial spectrum estimation,The simulation results show that high-resolution two-dimensional DOA estimation can be achieved by using the logarithmic spiral antennas array.
