Cold-Adaptation Molecular Mechanism and Application of Psychrophiles

The concept, distribution and taxonomy of psychrophiles and/or psychrotrophs are introduced in this paper.At the same time the physiological charateristics of them are expounded from the survival environments and their cold-adaption molecular mechanism. The perspective of their application and theoretical research is also prospected.
