In order to adapt the requirement for miniaturization and digitization of modern vedio capture system,a digital image capture syetem based on DaVinci DSP was designed.This design didn't need to attach an external codec chip,directly linked digital camera,so reduced the interference that brought about by D/A conversation,meanwhile,used the video processing system component(VPSS) intagrated in DaVinci DSP,there was video processing front end(VPFE) in the VPSS,VPFE in hardware way handle image preprocessing such as video capture,CFA interpolation,color space transformationse,simplify software design.Results shows that video image captured by system is distinction,stabilization,color balance,content the requirement of video image for normal camera.
