A Model of an Image Searching Engine and Its Realization

With the development of Internet, there is more and more image information on Internet and people need a tool to search and retrieve images ,so a model of an image searching engine is presented. The model consists of four parts: the spider, the image processor, the image databank and the user interface. The way to run the system is described and the method to realize each part of the system is introduced. A main hue pair algorithm is put forward and the method is simple to calculate. The retrieval results are not affected by the size of images,by a small change of rotation and illumination.The experiment indicates that the algorithm can improve the retrieval results.
