ON THE NONLINEARITY OF MULTI-OUTPUT BOOLEAN FUNCTIONS

The nonlinearity of multi-output Boolean functions was first introduced in reference. This paper defines a new kind of nonlinearity for multi-output Boolean functions which is different from that in reference. The relationship between the two different kinds of nonlinearities is studied. Their cryptographic significance is pointed out. Furthermore, the new nonlinearities of two classes of multi-output Boolean functions are also discussed.
