The File Sharing Model Based on Network Coding for Wireless Mesh Network

The basic concept of network coding is that intermediate nodes in the network not only forward but also process the incoming information flows,which results in significant benefit.Traditional file transmission system has bottleneck disadvantage in file service time,thus,this paper introduces a simplified network coded file sharing model for wireless Mesh network.and researches on four cooperation strategies of nodes with the method of theoretical analysis and experimental simulation.The result shows that network coded forwarding schemes outperform non-coding schemes,reducing by averagely 11.67% in service time,which improves the throughput.
