SegEra: an Erasure Code and Segmentation Combined P2P Storage Structure

Base on the Erasure Code and file segmentation technique,the paper presents the Erasure Code and segmentation combined P2P storage structure called SegEra.First,the paper analyzes the constitution method and structure characteristic of the SegEra,and discusses its discrete data distribution architecture using the file index.Then,the paper researches on the P2P storage node choice problem theoretically,and the simplified algorithm is designed for the SegEra.At last,the simulation results show that the simplified algorithm for the SegEra can effectively improve the file storage availability.
