Encapsulation of Scalable Video Coding in MPEG-2 Transport Stream and Its Application

In order to bring H.264/SVC standard into practical applications,the encapsulation format and transport mechanism of SVC in network transmission need to be developed.This paper firstly analyzes the structure of coded SVC video stream and MPEG-2 system layer protocol,then focus on how to use MPEG-2 system,which is also named transport stream,to implement the scheme of SVC video transmission in IP network.
