According to the farmers planted situation of Changde City,a small cotton seedling planting machine was designed,as well as the transmission system and planting system. The relationship among planting spacing,frequency and unit of cotton planting forward speed was analyzed,the relationship among the number of hanging cup,turning radius and spacing,hanging cup number and hanging cup speed was obtained. The machine has the advantages of portability,convenient operation,grow speed etc..
