Research of Layered Multicast Congestion Control Scheme for Wireless Network

The basic principles of layered multicast congestion control are introduced at first.Then some congestion control schemes are analyzed in detail.We propose a method using one-way delay and pathload arithmetic to estimate network status,so the ACK implosion problem,which brought by information feed back from receiver to sender,are successfully avoided.At last,a layered multicast congestion control schemes for wireless network is presented.Simulations show that WALM not only adapted wireless network well,but also is TCP-friendly and scalable.
