Construction and Application of Soil Moisture Data Model Used NetCDF Format Based on GIS

NetCDF is a multi-dimensional scientific data for the storage and coding standards.The user can operate and manage NetCDF datasets in many ways.Based on the study of NetCDF data model,the model of soil moisture dataset of Meteorological stations was built.With the help of programming language C # and the ArcEngine which provided secondary development components of ArcGIS,soil moisture data in NetCDF of the National Agro-meteorological Observation Stations form1981 to 2007 were achieved.The study offered a fast way for archiving,distribution and sharing Meteorological stations data,which made it possible for the dataset to be introduced in GIS analysis and application.
