Application of Gray Theory and Its Combined Model in Forecast of Traffic

In gray theories and methods,the gray model described by repeated addition and differential equation,has good estimate accuracy and practicability during some forecast time. In order to improve the accuracy,the gray model and the regression model were combined. It takes the minimal error square as the target function and gets best weight numbers,using Lagrange multiplier. As result shown,this combined model is better on application than the separated using of gray model and regression model in forecasting of traffic.
