Information Entropy in Translation

By using the concept of entropy and Shannon-Weaver's information communication model,the present paper takes as its focus the analysis of various noises in translation(some forms of information entropy)such as psychological noise,social noise,cultural noise,linguistic noise and physical noise which affect the quality of translation.One of the effective approaches to reduce entropy and to remove unpredictability or uncertainty and incoherence is to solve the problems caused by noises in the course of translation.
