Software evolution refers to the process that software changes by itself to achieve expected form.It is an essential characteristic of software systems.SA becomes a major basis and an effective way for dynamic evolution.SA dynamic evolution has become a hot spot in the software engineering fields.Addressing SA dynamic evolution,we examine current research,introduce the conception of SA and quantitative analysis of SA dynamic evolution,and build a SA dynamic evolution model based on cellular automata theoretics.
