Statistical Models and Evaluation of Tolerances in National Rules for the Germination Test of Crop Seed Testing
Kejian Cui · Journal of Biomathematics · 2006
Up-to-date computation means surpasses that in 1960s when active enumerative tolerances were set up for crop seed testing. Based on statistical models for the germination test, the paper recalculates tolerance values for seed testing by the authors' programming MATLAB codes. Out of 4 categories, values of active tolerances for 3 categories show small to large positive departures, while little negative departures exist for 1 category. The revision is recommended to the relevant tolerances for the germination test in National Rules for Crop Seed Testing.
