Design and Implementation of Natural Disasters Information Issuing and Forewarning System in Zhuhai Based on WebGIS

Zhuhai,a city in Guangdong Province,is a natural disaster-frequent area due to the complex physical ge- ography conditions.With the rapid development of society and economy,the loss caused by natural disasters is be- coming more and more severe.The forewarning mechaisms of natural disaster is an important component in disaster reduction,in which WebGIS plays a vital role as one of the primary technical support.The natural disaster forewar- ning service system of Zhuhai had been designed and impliemented according to the principle that the leading factor of causing disaster occupy the superior in terms of the most serious impact of main disasters.It mainly introduced the overall goal and the design method of natural disaster forewarning system,the system framework,the natural disaster synthesis database,the system main function as well as the interface of system implementation.
