Efficient Error Control Coding(ECC) can be used to enhance the stability and energy efficiency of Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs). In order to deal with high bit error probability due to poor channel environment in WSNs, the paper study the error control coding techniques based on full diversity root check Low Density Parity Check(LDPC) codes, which takes advantage of the diversity resources in a wireless sensor network. Firstly, the encoding scheme based on root check full diversity LDPC code is put forward in clustering WSNs, then the diversity gain is analyzed. Secondly, the structure of rate compatible full diversity LDPC codes for the proposed scheme is proposed. Finally, the energy efficiency of the coding WSNs system is given. Simulation results show that the proposed coding scheme can significantly improve the energy efficiency of wireless sensor networks in poor channel conditions environment(In the simulation, channel noise is greater than 44 10 m W-′).
