Implementation and performance analysis of signcryption scheme in wireless sensor networks

Signcryption is a cryptographic method that fulfills both the functions of secure encryption and digital signature with less cost.To transmit secure and authenticated message in wireless sensor networks,an efficient signcryption scheme with forward secrecy based on elliptic curve,which was presented by HWANG,was modified and it was implemented in TinyOS,which is called TinySignCrypt.Compared with other schemes,the experimental results in the MICA2 platform show TinySignCrypt has better performance in terms of communication and computation load.
