Hybrid digital watermarking algorithm based on DCT and SVD

Discrete cosine transform(DCT) and singular value decomposition(SVD) have been used as tools for embedding data into an image.A hybrid watermarking algorithm based on DCT and SVD is proposed,after applying the DCT to the whole image and mapping the DCT coefficients in a zig-zag order into four quadrants,and then applying the SVD to each quadrant.Experimental results show that the watermarking algorithm performs well in robustness,the embedded watermark is detected reliably,following usual signal processing and JPEG compression.
