STUDY ON OPERATING CHARACTERISTICS OF PERMANENT MAGNET LINEAR SYNCHRONOUS MOTOR FOR VERTICAL MOVEMENT

The paper analyses the effect of supply frequ-ency on operating characteristics of permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM), gives definitions and discu-ssion on dynamic braking characteristic, energy consumption braking characteristic and accelerating characteristic for PMLSM as application of vertical movement. The conclusions can be used to guide design considerations and control strategy of vertical movement application for a PMLSM.
