Time division multiple access(TDMA) based media access control(MAC) protocol provide a good utilization of the radio resources, especially at high input loads environment. The nodes self-synchronization,collision-free and receiver-oriented are realized in this proposed MAC protocol for Ad Hoc networks. In this protocol, receivers act as local base stations and can manage one or more communications on a single slot.A theoretical analysis and simulations show that this protocol improves throughputs and decreases end-to-end delay as compared with IEEE 802.11.
