Software System Test Based on Operational Profile

Operational profile and its tabular and graphical representations are introduced.The multi-level tabular representation of operational profile is presented.The developing method of operational profile,including identifying the initiators of operations,choosing the representation method,creating operation list and determining the occurrence probabilities of operations,is introduced.The software test method based on operational profile is discussed.The method includes estimating the number of test cases,allocating the number of test cases between operations,specifying test cases and analyzing the failure intensity.
