It describes the image stitching technology application field and a variety of matching algorithm,then it studies the basic principles and the advantages and disadvantages of the ratio matching algorithm.In this paper to solve the algorithm easily error matching problem,it design image stitching improvement ratio algorithm based on the the outline of the characteristics region.Comparison to the traditional method,the algorithm can quickly and accurately find the best image matching position,and it can solve error matching problem of the traditional algorithm.The experimental results show that the algorithm has the advantages of fast speed,high accuracy characteristics.
