This paper introduces the protocols of SET (Secure Electronic Transaction) and some practical technolo- gies with both their paper advantages disadvantages.Nowadays,TIP is the trend of the internet payment and used broadly.With the idea of the TIP,the better scheme of SET can be used to promote the development of e-commerce.
