Moving objects detection is the important research content of vision field. In this paper,an algorithm of moving objects detection is proposed based on background subtraction and frame-difference of block coding.By using the frame-difference of block coding, the images are divided into moving area and still area which is used for updating the background. Then the moving area is compared with background to locate moving objects and uncovering area.At last,a shadow suppression algorithm is introduced based on HSV color space to suppress the shadows in the scene.Experiment results demonstrate that the algorithm can quickly and exactly detect the moving objects and suppress the shadows.
