The Research on Client/Server Architecture for Mobile Database

In this paper, we first analyze and give a comparison between two-tiers and three-tiers Client/Server architectures, then introduce two kinds of multi-tiers Client/Server architecture. After these we provide an architecture for mobile DBMS and some functions included are described.
