Frame Design for Reservoir Spatial Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery in Database

Reservoir Spatial Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery in Database(SDM KDD) will be a key problem in the constructing of digital oil reservoir.In the paper,the feature of reservoir spatial data and the methodology of data processing are summaried,a SDM-based data processing idea i.e.oil reservoir spatial data mining and knowledge discovery in database is suggested to extract previously unknown but potentially useful information for decision-making during the petroleum exploration and development.Four possible methods of SDM and their features are presented in the work and a frame for reservoir SDM that combine the database data mining with GIS virtualization is suggested.The main SDM models are discussed,the associate rules is suggested to be the most important model.Therefore,the algorithm for mining spatial associate rules is the key one for reservoir SDM.
