A summary of decision tree in data mining

Data mining plays a more and more important role in scientific research fields and business applications.A classifier is the basic method in the data mining,and a decision tree is one of the most important classifiers.This paper introduces the way of decision tree in classifiers,its advantages,its expression and its construction method and a comparative study of all important decision tree's algorithms have been made.Algorithms implements,the combination with data warehouse,decision tree's appropriate situations and its applications are also introduced.Finally,the paper discusses the developing trend of decision tree.
