Study and Implementation of Burst-Error-Correcting Algorithm for Reed-Solomon Codes

This paper first describes decoding of conventional Reed-Solomon codes and studies the mathematical derivation model to correct burst-error.Then a RS(15,9) code is used as an example to analyse the decoding procedure concretely.The article discusses the influence on probability of miscorrect by choice of the common root of key equations.Last it points out the application perspective of burst-error-correcting.
