On Combination Forecast of Weighted Geometric Means Based on Arithmetic Average Approach

Combination forecast of weighted geometric means is a model of nonlinear combination forecast.Based on arithmetic average minimum approach,the combination forecasting model of weighted geometric means is proposed and discussed.The concepts such as non-inferior combination forecast,superior combination forecasting and redundant degree have been put forward.Under certain conditions,the existent conditions of non-inferior combination and superior combination forecast have been discussed.Some theorems which determine whether a method is a redundant forecasting method have been given.Application example shows that this nonlinear model is effective.
