The Application of XML Technology in Substation Automation System

SAS(Substation Automation System) requires to develop a tool which can describe configuration of SAS.XML,which has virtue of detachment in data content and its display-processing,self-definition and extensible etc,has now applied widely in automation system of power network.SCL in IEC61850 uses XML as substation configuration describe language.This paper introduces application of XML in SAS after analyzing object model of SCL.
