Study on Algorithm of Classification of New and Used Bank Notes Based on BP-LVQ Neural Network

A new classifier based on BP-LVQ neural network to classify new and used bills,which two features of the new and old note images are simultaneously extracted in a system according to the characteristics of images for the paper currency, is presented by using the cascade combination in this paper.The simulation results show that the method can effectively improve the recognition rate of 15%of the system and be applied to old and new banknotes clear identification of processing systems.
